Demo is Fun

Want to know how awesome my husband is? He let me take first swing.

Thanks to striking AT&T workers, the husband had a surprise day off. He began the demo of the outside room so we can convert it into an office for me (and a spare room for visitors–as we discovered last time we had guests, four adults staying over in our house is a tight fit. Five is too many.). Here it is at the end of the day–reframing and replacing the garage door with a standard door/window combo come next.

Couple this with a great 1.5 mile walk with the puppy, a 4.8 mile run, a close encounter with the police (who are ever vigilant guarding the world against jay walkers–runners–like me), a trip to the dentist (I only cried a little!), an appointment with a client, an afternoon of laser tag (happy birthday nephew!!!!) and happy hour with the girls, it promises to be a day for the record books.
