Sunrise Date

20130305-121733.jpg

Sadly, not with my running group. I finally joined the 21 century and got a smart phone (yay! )…

…but promptly failed at setting the alarm to get up to meet my girls at 5 am. The husbands alarm went off at 5:02, which was the perfect time to let hem know I couldn’t make it (and there is no way I’d ask them to wait the 15 min. it would take for me to drive over.).

So I had a hot sunrise date with this little number. It is a polyester dupioni dress, purchased used, which I completely am remaking for the bride. We changed the straight across neckline to a deep sweetheart, and dropped the back 4″.

I can’t WAIT to have the fitting tonight–I have a feeling she’s going to be thrilled!!!

  1. Would love to see how you do some of these alterations. The dress looks great!!

    1. Thanks! I always forget to take before pics–but I’m working on a blog post right now I bet you’ll get a kick out of!
