Little Yellow Orbs

Posted on

Today, we attacked picking some tomatoes. Check out what we picked in round one!

We have one additional bucket, and a ton on the “deal with/pick on Monday” docket.

Today’s task: find recipes for yellow grape tomatoes. So far, I have:

Tomato, bacon, and Parmesan pasta
Margherita pizza
Tomato and cucumber salad
BLT Chicken salad
Eat them by the handful

Hopefully I can think of more on my 5 mile run tomorrow. (Also, by posting this, I am committing myself to a 5 mile run tomorrow.)

Any suggestions?

Nine days ago, I wandered around my garden and admired the tiny green tomatoes.

These are just a sampling. There are 6 yellow grape tomato plants, 4 purple cherry tomatoes, 4 romas, and 4 beefsteak.

The big ones are starting to turn red as well. Time to get my canning shoes ready.
